Sample Day at Camp

*Each day will have a general focus. Ex. Skill of the day is passing (Focus on crisp passes, using various passes, 5 pass rule before you can shoot, etc.)

Morning: (Ages 6-9)


9-930am: Dynamic stretching, warm up, warm up our hands with some group ball handling (fun and high energy warm up games to get everyone going!)

930-10am: Get into partners – passing (chest, overhead, bounce, 2 balls at once), move into “piggy in the middle” passing

10-1020am: Do a group game incorporating the skill focus of the day (Ball tag – FOCUS: passing)

1020-1030am: Snack Break

1030-1130am: Split into groups and go through stations. Coach at each station. Each day they will learn and practice new skills and add on to skills they have done from the day before (3 stations, 20 minutes each station)*Stations will be fun, competitive very interactive!

1130-noon: Stay in groups, will end in a competition/game play that focuses on and incorporates the skill of the day! We will be watching and assessing this skill closely during games.

Morning: (Ages 10-13)


9-930am: Dynamic stretching, warm up, warm up our hands, group ball handling (Get energy and communication up to get everyone going!

930-10am: Box passing drill. (4 offensive players in the box. 1 defense. Keep adding defense) *Activity will be geared toward skill of the day*

10-1020am: Competition involving skill of the day (Make it competitive, vs. each other) – ex. First team to get 30 crisp passes in a row.

1020-1030am: Snack Break

1030-1130am: Split into groups and go through stations. Coach at each station. Each day they will learn and practice new skills and add on to skills they have done from the day before (3 stations, 20 minutes each station)*Stations will be fun, competitive, very interactive!)

1130-Noon: Stay in groups, will end in a competition/game play that focuses on and incorporates skill of the day! We will be watching and assessing this skill closely during games (Ex. 4 on 4 with only passing, no dribbles)

Noon-1pm: LUNCH

Afternoon: (Ages 6-9 & 10-13)


1-130pm: Dynamic stretching, warm up

1:30-2pm: Group Activity that focuses on communication, working together, being a team and skill of the day!

2-4pm: Split up into teams that will your team for the duration of camp (some changes may need to be made throughout the camp based on skill level)

2-245pm: 2 on 2 tournament (Even teams will be made. Play for a prize!)

245-3pm: Snack Break

3-3:15pm: Shooting competition – first group to make X amount of baskets

315-350pm: End in 4 on 4/5 on 5 game. (Scoreboard, referee, stats, full game rules!) *Won’t go

past 4 on 4 for younger kids*
