In the semi finals, Monarchs played the Sudbury Selects in what was one of the tightest games of the year!! The game went into TRIPLE OVERTIME, with the end result being an 83-80 win, Emmanuel Ansah managed to bucket 40 points on the board for the Monarchs!!

4 hours later, the Monarchs faced off with the Etobicoke Thunder to compete for what would be the last game of the season. Monarchs player Kevin Dew lead the Monarchs with 20 points to beat Etobicoke 62-53 and capture their third gold medal since April 21st!!

Great season Monarchs!! You couldn't have made the City of Mississauga, your parents, coaches and teammates any more proud of how hard you all battled to get as far as you did! What a great successful season, we hope you're all back for yet another go for gold next year!!!
